The day started a little overcast, but the rain clouds cleared up by the time photos started. Katie spent the morning with her sisters and friends getting ready and the mood was lighthearted and fun. Jake surprised Katie with a cute card that he had slipped in her purse the day before. I convinced Katie's mom to get fake eyelashes for the day, really how often is she going to do that! We had first look and bridal party photos at this great farm by the ceremony and reception site. I think it is a new favorite location!
The sun came out for the ceremony, which only brightened the fun pops of yellow and turquoise that were decorating the reception site. Jake and Katie mimiced the Pulp Fiction dance for their first dance; it was a great hit for the crowd! And a great way to start off the dance floor! Thanks Jake & Katie! Enjoy!
